Feast of Christ the King (C)

Readings: 2 Samuel 5: 1-3; Colossians 1: 12-20; Luke 23: 35-43

Selected Passage:  “The people stood by and watched; the rulers, meanwhile, sneered at him and said, "He saved others, let him save himself if he is the chosen one, the Messiah of God.”  (Luke 23: 35)

Meditation:  Christ the King is the crucified one for our sins.  He is the RANSON for allmour offenses that has redeemed us and that we may have life to the full.  We do NOT simply stand and watch… but we believe in this life-giving SACRIFICE and WITNESS of LOVE of self-expenditure that others may be saved!.
